For post-graduate certification, a 3 or 4 year degree is required. Students may also opt for "Study Abroad" term or year at the Undergraduate or Postgraduate level. Credits earned in this way are applied back to the home degree for graduation requirements.
Fees vary according to university and program. British costs range from £7000 - £9000. New Zealand tuition is generally $NZ17, 000 to $25000 for one academic year. A Masters degree would be approximately $NZD30, 000. "Study Abroad" fees are in the range of $NZ8500 per semester.
All students entering New Zealand to study must have International Student Health Insurance. It gives you basic coverage over the duration of studies. Most universities include the Insurance in the initial deposit as listed on an offer letter. You will not be able to obtain a student visa until you have the Insurance.
KIWI CONSULTANCY SERVICES is proud of the close relationship with the University International Offices which allows our clients quick turn around times on their applications. Upon receipt of the application and transcripts from the student, KCS will forward your documentation to the universities of choice. Allow approximately four weeks for the average response. All correspondence will come to you through KCS Consultants. Professional programs such as Medicine, Physiotherapy, etc may have specific application deadlines and first round offer dates.
You should submit one set of Notarized photocopies. If your studies are still in progress, you may be given a conditional offer based upon successful completion of current studies.

The academic year in New Zealand starts in autumn which is the February intake. The end of the academic year is November. Depending on the New Zealand university and specific program, a mid year intake may be available in July. British schools generally begin in September.
In New Zealand, students holding a student visa may work up to 20 hours a week during full time study and full time during holidays.
